Quality and environment
Quality is of very high importance for Incap in the manufacturing of customers' products and development of the company's own operations. The target quality level is defined as satisfied customers, low costs and a low environmental load.At Incap, continuous improvement of quality and productivity is governed by the company's quality and environmental policy. Incap’s production units have an ISO 9001:2008-compliant quality system and certifications according to the ISO 14001:2004 environmental standard. The Kuressaare and Helsinki plants have certifications in accordance with the ISO 13485:2003 quality standard for the manufacture of medical devices. The Finnish plants have undertaken to observe the environmental goals of the Finnish Environmental Register of Packaging PYR Ltd.
The target of development work is to not only fulfil customer requirements and authority regulations but also continuously improve quality of operations and therefore ensure company’s competitiveness in the future. The most significant environmental effects of Incap operations relate to usage of energy and materials and logistics. Some chemicals are used in production but environmental effects and risks caused by them are considered to be small.
